Evaluation
I thought the article was thought provoking. I don’t know if Dahl’s book is the very best but it did make me want to read it for myself. I agreed with the approach of the case study of eight class rooms showing how phonics is actually used in the school environment. Phonics was shown to be important in both reading and writing which I believe is a crucial component of the foundation for both reading and writing. The article
